The list of honours and awards granted to radar technical officers and airmen radar mechanics of the Royal Canadian Air Force during World War II was fast compiled as a chapter for "Canadians on Radar Royal Canadian Air Force 1940 - 1945". In the final edit of "Canadians on Radar R.C.A.F. 1940-1945" several potential chapters had to be excluded in order to contain the material into one volume. The Chapter on Honours and Awards was one of the casualties.

The Canadian Radar History Project has now decided that this list of honours and awards should now be published. It will complement the major work "Canadians on Radar Royal Canadian Air Force 1940 - 1945".
