Sun On My Wings, by Dundas Bednall

Corgi has recently released a model of the Sunderland in the colors of "Black Peter", JM673 which served with 230 Squadron in South East Asia (SEAC).

Dundas Bednall was the commanding officer of 230 Squadron, and "Black Peter" was his aircraft.

In 1989, Dundas Bednall wrote the story of his life in the RAF, which includes service on Sunderlands during the evacuation of Greece, in Africa as well as his time in Ceylon.

Unfortunately, Dundas Bednall has passed away, but copies of his book are still available from his family.
