99 Squadron RAF
Reformed on April 1, 1924, the squadron served in the United Kingdom until January 14, 1942 when it departed for India.
It was initially equipped with Wellington III's and X's, and started bombing raids on Burma in November 1942.
In September 1944 the squadron converted to Liberators.
The squadron was disbanded on November 15, 1945.
