Formed on February 1, 1944 at Jessore, India

Served as an Air Sea Rescue (ASR) Squdron.

Converted to Liberators in December, 1944 when the Warwick was determined to be unsuitable for operations.

Disbanded June 14, 1945

(its duties were taken over by 1347, 1348, and 1349 Flights)
